I kind of tie my laces like that.

I don't know how to tie the laces like shown in post #1. It's rather long.

edit: so I just tested this out, and apparently I've been tying it the right way all along. nice -scooter

Yeah, there's a slow motion version on Youtube that shows how its done, but in the given context of the thread, I just couldn't resist, LOL... -innocent2

 

It's basically a trick, he hid his true laces (tied against the shoe) under his trousers/jeans.
