Advice on Bookshelf speakers, amp....ect....

    Hey guys,

    Basically I dont know much about speakers using amplifiers and such, I only know about normal self powered speakers.

    Im looking for a small system with some decent bass for my bedroom, e.g two bookshelf speakers or something along those lines.

    I was looking at this amp

    I dont know if its the right one for bookshelf speakers but it would be nice to have a minimalistic design that looks sleek

    I just bought myself the Bose companion 3 series II speakers. Sound is terrific.

    I guess I'll ask the same question. I'll give you a range of budgets. Under $200, $400 and $600.

    Roughly £150 so about $250, Looking for something minimalistic in terms of the amp that looks sleek and has a low profile and speakers with some bass that doesn't distort at higher levels
