I am looking for a free photo sharing and storing site. I want to upload over 2000 pictures to share with the people at my temple. Flickr has a limit, only 200 photos. I don't like Google Picasso. I searched and several sites came up; however, I don't know which is good and bad. Privacy is an important issue to me. I want to share these photos with people in the temple only and no one else. There are others in the pics who might not like to have their pics posted online for public viewing or what not so I want to respect their privacy as well.

Well, let me know. Thank ya'll for your help.

Thanks buddy! Hey .. do you know how I can get pics from DVD? My friend put all the pics and vids into one DVD so it's a DVD file. I can't copy and save the photos separately.

No .. just tried it .. doesn't work. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough earlier but my friend gave me a DVD with all the pics converted to be played like a movie. I want to get those pics out into one by one jpeg so I can send through email. Also, some pics are blurry, anyway to fix it?? Thanks again!

if the photos have been converted into a slideshow type movie
depending how it was done, i don't see an "easy" way of extracting them

easiest way would be to get them to copy to dvd without the conversion

I usually use imageshack since photobucket seems to have a limit on my account.. always locking my account when it's full for the month -_-2

    The_Jelly NSFW? :P

If you want to send ALL the pictures you can try make an image/iso of the dvd and upload it somewhere for them to download.

if he converted it into a movie you won't be able to get the jpeg files out of it. you should just ask your friend to send you the pictures as its original format.

Doesn't Photobucket have bandwidth limit? I sometimees post links from photobucket & after a while, the picture says "Reached Bandwidth Limit".

I use ImgUr.com for pictures for PA Ent. News. Not sure if there is a pwd lock or limit though.

Thanks everyone for your input .. I am still wishy washy about the site to upload the pics. Photobucket is still top my choice; however, I am worry about the limit (some of you mentioned it). I have a lot of pics and have no desire to uploads at different sites for the photos. Privacy is another reason why Photobucket is my choice since most comments didn't mention that.

As for the vids, I did it. After a lengthy search, I was able to find the free software to convert the vid back to jpeg and I must say, the quality was good (better than expected) except the last batch where all 200 photos were a bit blurry. Anyway, I got most of the important ones so it's fine.

My next step is to upload all the 2000+ photos into a good and secured site. I'd appreciate further comment about potential free sites as well as its privacy policy. Thanks again!

Photobucket is quite a good choice. It is unlimited now, I just checked the sign up page. As for security, you can lock your albums with a password so it shouldn't be a problem.
