Anyone else watching? Some interesting and good games so far, with the better-playing teams being in particular Germany, USA, Japan, Australia.
surprisingly..... japan are scoring loads of goals.. they even had a hat-trick i think brazil or germany will win it
Japan has been magnificent, maybe the most sophisticated passing in the tournament so far. Canada was too weak against France's play, something one might not have expected.
Germany - Japan in the quarter-finals. I was disappointed that Japan lost to England. They played nicely again, but this time they couldn't score. I'm a little afraid of Saturday, people say Japan can't win against strong European sides. And Germany now... it is going to very very tough, I guess. It would be a shame if Japan were going to be knocked out because so far Japan has played the best football. They should focus on scoring goals!
i woould be worried for japan... they smashed france 4-2 playing with one striker XD if they bring in prinz... all is lost XD
You mean Germany? Well, the fan base is not big, in fact really tiny compared to Men's football. And Sweden has beaten the USA surprisingly. That means USA-Brazil, sounds exciting
nice, japan are through. i will be supporting them to win now considering england got knocked out by france. in all fairness i thought england didn't play as well as france so i think the result was probably representative, but with the penalty shootout they had a good chance to win but unfortunately didn't. i think penalties are usually a combination of both luck and confidence. those who lack it are the ones who tend to try too hard and miss.
well i think the us womens have always been relatively good so i think it was expected for them to play well.

Fixed ~~ That's a lovely header. The brazillian players looks so thin! Congrats to the states. Being able to score a goal while you're down a player aint easy
