Ok, so we have gone from it was not intentional to it is intentional... ok good job, progress is progress :)

So your supposition is that I got upset or 'salty' as you put it... OK as I disagree I'm going to ask you to prove it. If you are going by how you would feel then that is not valid proof. Did I give any indication of being upset or is it just based on 'If a person asks a question and it is answered they are ''salty''', not sure if i used your word the right way there, bear with me.

I mean is being ''salty'' a state of mind, is it something you inflict or put on another person regardless of how they feel? im really not sure, if its totally something that is based on your opinion then you can run with it, otherwise...

    In your own time.

Ohh nonono, i meant bring your own print-out instead of a laptop, otherwise you would need a printer and a laptop to connect it to unless you had a jpeg on mem card and a printer that takes mem card, then the power supply issue again, so your own print-out you made before going 300 years back.

if you wana draw face book by hand then maybe you could use their paper, paper has been around since 100 A.D :p

As for reading, im sure they could read, well some could, if you went in a time machine you anint gona go to a peasant right, youll probably go there and do an ET "Take me to your leader" :)

The business end of my M16; would solve a lot of current problems in the world. Time for another Sonny Chiba movie, eh? LOL... Just love these Rorschach type questions, there is no correct answer but rather, designed to show how people think and what their priorities are.

Both, but t'was a long time ago.

  7. The thread continues!...... the saltyness is just a saying when something doesn't go according to plan, if you decided on only receiving a single answer in the first post after your posed question, why create a whole thread about it? ask it in chat or maybe in off topic... You chose to create this thread in the lounge to acquire an audience, if not that than sneaking in a few post counts?

This is a forum and each thread is a topic of discussion, am I not correct? Just by the act of deciding the placement of this thread you chose to discuss the topic in hopes of getting multiple responses. At least this is what i hope you are doing....

So, if thread ended without the multiple responses that you expected or half expected would that not be considered as things not going as expected? Or were you just throwing out a random topic and didn't even expect a reply, how would that be any different than posting spam?

You don't have to be so defensive about it... everybody gets salted here and there its ok buddy.

imo this thread has been successful, a little skirmish with you, an interesting "what if" with reno, ralphrepo threw a little in, the most technologically advanced thing would be the time machine but it may not necessarily be the thing you wish to show, so is there a correct answer.

    Maybe if structured like:

"What is the most technologically advanced thing you could possibly show them, PC, Car, or something else....?"

Then it would be time machine and i would say 'PC', 'car' to try and send them in the wrong direction, but if its said as i put it, its pretty open though it wasn't intended.

This salty thing is still new to me, i have never heard it in the UK, i do hear Gootecks and Mike Ross saying it a lot though and they say it to imply the person is upset, but w/e i guess it can be used in different ways.

  10. in the fighting game area.... the word salty is used pretty freely, mike ross and gootecks usually use it to describe anything from complete domination to major comebacks.

the thread got further due to this discussing of salt.
