Bunch of people seem to have it. Whats your opinion on it? You have a subscription? How's it working out for you? Any other Video On Demand services you use or prefer?
need a big data cap to use it. heard its mostly old flicks. also mention of them changing their price options. cant say ive used them though.
Not as great and spectacular as they make it out to be. I canceled my subscription last month after 3 months. Initially started with the free 1 month service provided with the PS3 and just sort of forgot to cancel till last month.. There were lots of times where the shit I wanted to watch was not on it and I just resorted to torrenting the stuff instead. And honestly, unless you're the type of guy that's too lazy or busy to torrent/DL stuff yourself, I don't see the point of having it. Bunch of old movies and TV shows, and hard to find recent stuff that you might've missed.
^ Lol. No recent stuff? THen whats the point of doing it? Make yourself feel better for not doing illegal stuff that is.
yea.. saw the selection.. mainly old stuff.. some recent.. but not that recent releases.. it's mainly out of sheer convenience since you can quickly browse through vid you want and not have to wait for it to fully dl. did the kiosk rentals before.. not too bad except its annoying having to drive back to return it.
He'll have it easier cause he's in the states though. Netflix in Canada is pretty crippled compared to the American counterpart. They don't have any of the recent movies out for stream cause it would be extremely expensive to acquire licenses to stream it. Just try it out the free month and see how it goes. Can't hurt =\
yea.. they've had that free month trial for awhile now.. havent really tried it tho. was thinking of checking out hulu plus.. but they mainly have tv shows..
netflix is pretty ok. you have a wide selections of movies. you get them pretty quick. cheaper now then it used to be.
I just started the free trial 30day on today. can multiple user can use at same time? because i want to give it to my sister since there is alot of kids stuff. I probably use it on night time..
definitely i've been using a 1 month free account with my girlfriend and its fine. she watch her shows and i watch my shows.
I think they are going to stop allowing multiple devices to stream on one account. I had it for about a year. Barely used it. Sucks.
Do you work for them or something? Getting public's opinion? Well, if you are, Netflix sucks. Got big and greedy. Raised prices by 60% and was dropped by a million or so subscribers. And the CEO came out and gave a BS apology - saying they didn't communicated the price hike correctly. And offered an even worst solution ... separation between DVD mail and streaming; and get this ... 2 different entries in your credit card statement. As if that's the problem. As for my personal experience, I left Netflix even before that - when they start to control how many DVDs I can get in a month. I had the 3 DVDs out plan .. Netflix's status was they have received all 3 DVDs back (or in other words, I do not have any DVDs on hand). But they just won't mail out the next one in queue - the status was something along the lines of "going out next week". Which means I do not have any DVD to watch. So I dropped their subscription, gone to Blockbuster and never looked back. It'll take alot for Netflix to win me as a customer back ... and I suspect it'll take a lot to win those million customers back. I hope they learn the lesson - it's more costly to win a customer back than to maintain a customer.
its pretty good. ive used it once and it was pretty good. didnt need to wait for buffer its ok.... i guess
