Questions for the males! females can be noisy

What does it mean when a guy calls you 'handsome' or 'cute' in front of their girlfriends/females friends?

Normally, I would just ignore it but it has became a frequent thing now, every time i attend a social gathering. I would hear that comment directed toward me and no one else sometimes they even give me that look like they're interested. This bugs me!! I am ONLY interested in females.


Thoughts!!! I'd like to hear your take on this. Or, how I should shift my way of thoughts.

i'm not gay. i get compliments for being good looking from guys and i give compliments to guys whom i think are good looking too. what's the big deal? duh... you should be grateful. it's just common courtesy dude.
