What a twist at the end Stephen Ma becomes a sibling in the Royal Family. That's so sad between Stephen ma and Selina, since they like each other, like wtf >.<. TVB is so fail, they had to kill Selina, otherwise it would be super twisted. Far what a dodgy ending!! Hmm, i didnt know asian kingdom had red wine back in the days, though it looks more like Grape juice/Ribena.
Lol yea, i was curious abt how they were gonna fix this whole incest thing but tvb producers sure have their ways eh! Selina's dead was so rushed lol... Imo granny queen shoulda died or something bad musta happened to her -_- but nooo.... The series, overall was quite good n i enjoyed up until the last 10 min from the series... Gosh, the ending = almost everyone is dead or crippled... n steven becomes a forgiving monk!? Right...........
stephen was such a non forgiving guy, like gets the truth kind of guy is what his character portrayed but to have him just forgive....that was just wrong lol. i agree with the queen should of died lol. the morale of the story is that if u do evil things for a greater good then nothing will happen to u =P
The ending isnt bad, and it was a nice twist on how Steven Ma's character turned out to be. However his character under went major changes in the course of the last 15mins of the series. From a man dedicated to the revenge of his family and adopted parents, to a monk who dropped all his anger. For some reason Steven Ma's look at the end reminded me of Guan Yu (prob just me) As for other characters; Selina death was tragic but thinking about she died in the arms of her loved one. This is prob better to find out the she is in love with her brother. Kenneth Ma; think it would have been better if he was executed, at least he would have give him abit more dignity. As for moonlightshow; there has been a known to have wine made from grapes or known as 葡萄酒.
The ending seem very unrealistic. (i know this series is fictional, beside the people is real in history the whole event is mostly fiction) Why Steven Ma's father( mute father) still treat him as his son?? The ending is very exciting but then ruined the setting of the story.
im more angry that they made Nip (Steven) the 4th prince of ShunZhi, I hate how theyre bringing dead people back to life =( the whole series was a disappointment
i guess he still treat him well cus his father passed down the responsibility to him? Selena's dying is just unrealistic -.- oh well, its a DRAMA. this series is alright

She takes getting used to. But I agree with what someone else stated about her getting it; it was just too quick. The finale for the bad guy? LOL... Spoiler: Just Desserts Living in exile in a 5 x 5 yurt with his wife?
She didn't mind that her husband doesn't recognise her at all. Calling her the name of the girl he liked. And the queen, why suicide. It's not your fault at all. Don't take the blame for others, its' the crazy 2nd brother (fuk chu).
maybe Selena's death is a good solution for the Steven Ma. Since they are blood relate they can't get together..
Well, to be fair, they didn't know that they were related, but it's creepy to think about nonetheless; and I agree the ending was rather cheesy.
The ending was a bit random espically when selena got stabbed. Also selena might not even be the princess otherwise why would her foster dad paid the docter to made the blood the same
i was waiting to see how steven saves the king, then surprise surprise, there was another secret behind his birth identity. did not see that coming.
