Raymond Lam, Bobby Au Yeung and Tavia Yeung's Men with No Shadows will be replacing Lives of Omission's time slot on Monday. This year Raymond will have only this one chance to defeat Laughing Sir (Michael Tse) in the race for the TV King title. My Sister of Eternal Flower only received a mediocre public response and the 'Mavis Pan Scandal' really hit Raymond hard. In Men with No Shadows, Raymond plays an unpredictable devil and will be the 'King of Chok' generating electricity with his 'Red Eyes'. Producer Poon Ka Tak strongly supports Raymond. He praised Raymond, and said he absolutely has the power to take the TV King title. "Raymond's performance this time greatly differs from his usual roles in the past. The style is different from the usual him and also he has tremendous changes. His role is very mysterious and unpredictable. Raymond really has the talent for performing and has great capabilities in expressing the character. Of course there are many good actors in Men in with No Shadows too, if it wasn't for Bobby Au Yeung's 'good person' role, it would be hard to convince audience." Producer Poon continues to describe the series as suspense: "This is another type of drama that can be considered a fable story. I want to warn viewers that this series is not written based on a true story, there is suspense, illusions and while we were producing the series, we had powerful imaginations. So, when you are enjoying the series, do not think it has anything to do with real life and put yourself into the story. If you feel Raymond is a ghost, then he's a ghost. If you feel he's human, then he's human. Just a small spoiler, the series will have an unexpected ending." Producer Poon goes on and describes how Men with No Shadows is revolved around the word 'Trial'. In other people's eyes, he is a 100% good person that goes through trials, but actually good people have their weaknesses. You think Devils are frightening? In fact, the Devil in the heart is even harder to resist! Much of what draws people into doing something bad basically comes from the nature of that person. The saying "Cherish the people you have at present", just how many people really know how to cherish? Will Raymond Lam really have a chance at TV King with his new role? the way the wrote this article is like... they're promoting the upcoming drama. Either way i'll watch it. seems like it should be quite a nice shift from the usual tvb. i still think laughing would take the crown this year though.

Agree with everyone, Laughing Gor! If Michael Tse doesn't win, than we know TVB is rigged and should report them to ICAC Yes only watching this because Bobby and Tavia in it, but I won't chase it like I was chasing Lives!!
raymond lam as king of chok, okay i can accept that but to beat out laughing gor for tv king? i highly doubt it, although the series does look promising. there's too much bias, especially if there's so much hype for laughing gor already from EU and all the other continuations/spin offs.
I just don't him even coming close cause right now, this series doesn't seem to have a real big impact, we'll wait and see if this series is any good first. But Laughing is at the top of right now.
No way Raymond, your acting is just not that great...some dude biting an apple does not see like tvb king quality...
i think laughing is winning this year... honestly, this drama doesn't have what it takes to show all of raymond's "capabilities" if you will. he just needs to keep a poker face and tadaaaa!
