My brother's laptop - Windows 7 - Toshiba Keep getting 'low disk space' error message popping up all the time. I literally don't know what's in the Data drive, but I think it's backup space? ... But I don't really want it to be honest.. I don't know what to delete.
backup or pr0nz lol but damn only leave 1.5 mb of a harddrive free wtf talk about going all the way hahaha... but it shouldn't have been a problem as u have a c drive...
yeah the C drive is where the main stuff goes.. program, doc, music etc... But what happens when the data drive is full... I don't even save anything on that drive.. so I dunno what's in there.
Maybe check the properties "Dang-Tosh", "HDDRecovery" and "WindowsImageBackup" folders. See which is the biggest and determine if you need those files in there?
ahh.. i'm not on his laptop now.. i'm on mine. and I can't be bothered to go downstairs to go on it and screen-shot haha. I'll screen-shot tomorrow what's in the folder. I don't exactly know what's in the folder and dunno if I need those files or not.. :/
lol. If you don't know what's in it, have you ever tried going through each of the folders that are inside? There's really no other choice is there now lol.
I'm not expert, but i suspect that partition is a recovery partition which lets your computer restore itself to factory defaults. http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD7C02140000R01.htm So, in other words, don't delete it unless you think you won't need it.
lol why don't you save what you need to save on the C:\ instead then.. it's obvious the D:\ is out of space so quit trying to put more files on it
i thought she was saving to C:\ but the notice still pops up? lol reno thats like 200gb of pr0nz its gonna be murda yo!
Folders and files that is on D: Thanks! but like I said.. I don't know if I need it or not as I don't know what these files are... :/ Also what happens if it's full? Just leave it..
