I'm going to be on TV during the next few months. I'm not sure how to record a show on TV. I want it to be recorded as a media file. I think I only have a VCR that records. Maybe some online TV softwares where I can watch TV on my computer and I can record it... Any ideas? Thank you.
I didn't know but I see a rec button on my DVD player. Then I looked up this website: http://www.ehow.com/how_5127625_record-tv-program-dvd-player.html I haven't record with a DVD before. I think I got it. I'm going to try it out.

I can a DVD and VCR player in one. **************So, can I play VCR while recording it on my DVD? **************But I'm suppose to select a "channel" on the player to record first, and a VCR isn't a channel.

To Catch a Predator? -lol If you have a vcr x dvd player, most of them can do converting inside the player, so record vcr, then convert, or you can get people to convert vcr stuff for you.
setting a vcr to record a tv show was so early 2000 for meh hahahah... wait isnt jonathan lam liek a programmer guy or was that flower or was that the other guy forgot his name....doesnt even know the simplest functions of operating a vcr (which should have the feature unless it was released early 90s ish).

Not really. Dont even know what that show is.. but wiki said it involves hidden camera. If it involves hidden camera, he wouldn't even have knew he was being recorded thus no need to record this show he's going on. Lol
but this might be after he was caught and they just let him have a vcr and limited internet access in his cell! :trollface2:
