So far I've been (mostly) using MPC with the real alternative plug-in to play my rmvb files and for the most part it works like a charm. BUT, I find that when I watch older videos, 2005 and older maybe, MPC incessantly crashes and I can't open a majority of the files. And since they're so old, none of the streaming sites have them! I'm getting so annoyed I can't stand it anymore! -cry2 Any suggestions?
VLC is one of the best players. I usually DONT use it though.. and i prefer MPC. But for best rmvb, probably Real Player.
Dam. am i the only one that uses real player when watching dramas? Downloaded that plugin for MPC for rmvb, i always get no sound. =.= Movie plays, no sound. Movie kinda pic lags too
^ nothing wrong with Real Player; just that VLC plays everything. Install 1 software, done with everything.
W/e floats my boat -lol I dunno why but i kinda DONT like VLC, but only the fact that it can play legitly everything without installing any codecs i think
i'll try gom or vlc. real player just doesn't agree with me. it lags, stops played every 30 secs to buffer which takes a minute. never going back to that.
Oh boy, hmmmmmmmm while watching dramas I do see a little buffering symbol on the bottom right side, maybe it has something to do with RAM?
prolly. i don't have much ram.. (i think) and recently i can't multitask while watching dramas.. the video stops playing or the audio stops playing or the same 3/4 frames play over and over. ugh! it wasn't like that before! :(
hah. i wish. i've been trying to get a new computer for years. my dad just got me some random laptop from the electronics trash place at his company as a result. fml.
