Fucking blizzard, kept moving the date further and further.....now it's suppose to release in "early 2012"... Betcha they'll delay it until apocalypse.
Buying items has put me off a bit but going to see how bad it effects the game, could always play Touch light 2 anyway.
my server was able to get the beta client working even if you dont have the invite. problem is.......NPCs and quests are running from blizzard servers.....so can't really do anything other than walk around
As an old style gamer who NEVER goes on line to play against others, I'm hoping that pirates crack this thing and make it single player playable, with community generated mods and add ons; just like the older games.
not liekly to happen. reason is becasue the game is online forced, meaning a lot of the objects in the game will be generated as you play. unlike older games where you install the whole thing. the only way is if someone takes all the data from a full online game and write them into the game to make it offline playable.....which i'm sure will happen, jsut not right away
ralph would be ragin' online.. If this thing is online only and requires monthly subscription.. then there's really no reason to release it in retail.. just sell that shit for cheap. See I always hate those kinda games cause it's like you're not even buying a full game. You're paying them up front and slow giving them more and more money hoping they release stuff that is of interest to you..
I'm pretty sure it won't be monthly paid subscription fee, it's not how Diablo runs. Otherwise, the money they will try to syphon out of us, because it's Activision will mainly be from the auction house. For transactions (of real money purchases) 15% of the bid goes to Blizz/Act. Though now that I mentioned it, i'm not ruling out a monthly subscription fee lol Anyone want to play Diablo 1 or 2?
There's no information pointing to a monthly subscription right now. The real money auction house will pay for itself most likely.
