matt kemp triple crown or 40/40 club. at least one has to happen! i really hope matty wins the NL MVP too, but i don't think it's going to happen because of the lame myth that MVPs can only be chosen from contending teams.

pretty good seasons for certain players.
verlander is a definite CY young award winner and a triple crown winner.
kershaw and kemp going for triple crown?

kemp leads the league in home runs and runs batted in, but his chances for the batting title and the triple crown are very very slim. it'll come down to either braun or reyes. with tonight's home run, kemp has 38 on the season and 40 stolen bases. he has 2 games left to get 2 more home runs and become just the 5th player in all of mlb history to join the 40/40 club (the dodgers will only play 161 games on the season this year because their rainout against the nationals has been canceled instead of postponed). let's go keMvP!! :)

  6. kemps a beast 40 hrs in dodger stadium ...one of the hardest ball parks to hit in and he has a shitty team even worst than jose.....but they never look at losing team players lol...jose in the same boat.

red sox might not even make the post season this year...down the wire with the rays, cards and braves comes down to last 2 games too.

kemp only has 38 home runs! last game of the season tomorrow; it doesn't look like he's going to get that 40/40... :(

fielder with a 3 HR game, wow. he's now tied with kemp for the NL lead at 38. the red sox have collapsed under pressure, and even if they manage to make it to the postseason, their effort just isn't there this year. having said that, go rays!

    Bautista still for AL MVP!

Anyways.. kinda sucks for Red Socks. They were ahead of the Rays a lot, but they were in a bad slump and the rays actually won it!congrats

crazy ass games last night or this very early morning, so many extra inning games to get into the playoffs... crazy crazy..

    Red Socks don't deserve it...

  18. i saw that johnson hr to tie the game on TV...so clutch and he's a pinch hitter! but of course Longeria was their MVP

rather see rays in it than the sox...sox are like yanks...big budget teams(N)
