doughty finally resigned by kings. can't say i'm not happy with the deal at $56 million for 8 years. i wouldn't have liked lombardi to up his previous off of $6.8 million a season, but 8 years to do it is a steal. the cap is only going to get higher and in years 6-8 of doughty's deal, things are looking good.
he makes more than Kopitar now? i don't like long terms but you just don't let this type of player walk....years down the road ..Kings will be glad they lock this kid up.
