Battlefield 3 Open Beta 9.29.11

This is beta.

It's for system performance and glitch testing.

This is not a demo.

 

Not necessarily system performance, thats should've been done before the game went gold. And demo's are usually old builds of the game, which is kidna dumb sometimes, if the demo is broke, then why would people want to buy it. (alas i know BF3 is not a demo, i'm just saying in general)

Did the blue icon on your teammates disappear and the spotting orange icon on enemies disappear as well?

 

Wouldn't know cause no one spots.

Also is it just me or are there a lot more jackasses on BF3 than BC2. I guess that's because it's a free beta =\

 

YEah lotta people dont spot, i snipe for the most part so i do spot. The orange arrow only disappears when the enemy goes behind cover, so it makes sense that the spot doesn't show. However once they come out of cover the arrows comes back.

naa, not interested in the demo map. have you tried the bf for free?

 

you guys should really try out battlefield heroes.. it's actually pretty fun.. TF2 in third person view.

haven't tried bf heroes, dont like look of it, only tried 'play for free' which is basically BF2

yeah i was part of the beta, i thought it would be fun, but everyone ended up camping and it just got annoying

No spotting at all or less?

The spotting thing happens anyway like on the previous games I played especially when noobs are around or people that think they are awesome when obviously teamwork is required or the people that are just trolls and teamkills for the fun of it. It only when on the server where the clans are that things improve or pick up generally with the teamwork. But yeah perhaps it's the beta and nothing will count anyway until the game is actually released.

The thing I hate most are admins of a particular server that hate losing; got banned when I killed the douche that owns the server for bf2142
