Hi, I'm an Android. I have a huge security breach. Get older features repackaged or getting your info stolen, I dunno, tough choice.
I'm pretty sure you can just as easily get your info stolen if you jailbreak.. if not then.. your features are pretty limited.
That security breach occurs only in HTC phones. Last time I checked, HTC didn't program Android. Not sure how you blame it on Android.
disclaimer: not a apple fanboy. I've had 6 BB's. Not saying HTC programmed Android. But HTC are running Android and in the Android "market" so to speak, HTC occupies a significant percentage. So you can't say it's just an isolated case. Leaving all rooting/jailbreaking aside, OEM-spec, it's a rather large fault.
not a fanboy but still, i like having everything co-ordinated LOL wen u have one, kinda want the rest to all match hahaha but that aside, most users of android are htc (and the other is samsung really). the others are like minorities, so yep... i agree with u, i consider android/htc to be the same thing even though i know one is hardware and one is software, but reference wise... they're the same)
Oh I see. Though I don't blame you for making that observation. RIM is known for high security of their devices. iOS and Android cannot compare to BBs when it comes to encryption, and that's the primary aspect as to why I love RIM. It's a shame that's all it has to go on at the moment though.
