Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Christine Kuo (苟芸慧), Sam Chan (李璨琛), Cheung Kwok Keung (張國強), and other artists appeared at the costume fitting for TVB series, Ghetto Justice 2 <怒火街頭II> yesterday. Since Kevin’s salary was rumored to be $160,000 Yuan per episode in mainland China, he was the object of teasing when he appeared at the costume fitting. Myolie teased Kevin that he has to treat everyone for snacks during filming! Cheung Kwok Keung also envied Kevin’s high salary and noted that if he were able to make ten percent of Kevin’s income, he would be extremely satisfied. Kevin smiled, “Actually, I am worth more than that price!” Asked whether Ricky Wong (王維基), Chairman of City Telecom, had attempted to recruit him, Kevin responded, “He did not personally seek me out. Since my TVB management contract will not be expiring anytime soon, I will not discuss joining another firm. I have already stated that as long as Virginia Lok (樂易玲) is at TVB, I will not appear at another television station in Hong Kong aside from filming mainland dramas. I support TVB! My position is very clear!” Did Myolie Wu envy Kevin’s salary and request TVB to increase her wages? Myolie smiled, “My salary is not low either! I heard that the salaries of many production staff were increased. My salary is okay.” (Since Myolie spoke from the heart rather than discuss money matters, did she also talk about the subject of awards with TVB?) “Getting awards is dependent upon the results. I have confidence of course.” Creds: Oriental Daily/oncc/Dramasian
"stated that as long as Virginia Lok (樂易玲) is at TVB" Guess some of her artists are really making sure she's staying where she's at.. If she goes, will those artists really leave with her...
Wonder will the 4 "boys" will back. & Sharon too. If Christine replaces Sharon.. it's somewhat acceptable to me. But i want sexy leg goddess AND Christine!
I personally didn't think Ghetto Justice was all that good .. don't get why there's a sequel to it. I guess TVB is running out of idea and willing to do whatever as long as there's a big fan club out there.
it was a fun show but i don't really get the sequel either...it ended on a good note and should've stayed that way. They just continue to milk everything dry
Yep, main target is the viewers. Viewers buy the drama and also get more viewers watching the drama. It will be likely they going to make another one. Example: Laughing gor character.. everyone loved him in EU and was going on about him, making an FB page. So that's where it all started so they made a film, tv drama etc Viewers = Money??
I thought there was gonna be a Ghetto Justice movie? Forgot where I heard it from though lol Anyway, they're definitely getting this out fast lol Sharon died in the first one. Hopefully they don't bring her back unless it's for a flashback cos I don't wanna see another Fala Chen thing where they just bring her back as another character Yeah, but too much Laughing Gor now in my opinion lol I'll still watch the Lives of Omission movie though
