tbh i dont care but i think forza did good to be able to compete with the more powerful machine. I am deciding to get the PS3, Acer Revo or DS 3D or watever the thing is called.
as i was saying with a friend, gt5 looks better in terms of details and lighting of the car. forza feels plasticy still. but what forza has done really well is the AA, a lot less jaggies, which makes the car look smoother. plus that video, the video looks so washed out cuz their over exposed the sun. i dont get why they bothered to compare a forza car to a gt5 standard car.
was kinda biased when they compared the two 330 P4 Race Cars, they used forza's photo mode, but used gt5's car select menu. like seriously? anyways, to me, gt5 has a more "realistic" feel to it. dont ask me why. i just feel that way. idk, maybe its because i havent played forza, but forza seems to have a more uplifting atmosphere to it, everythings brighter than it is in gt5.
Forza 3 was a bit odd looking but F4 is on a another level, not sure if you have actually played it in person or only seen it on youtube but it makes a difference as im sure it does for GT5, Dont forget the shadows too. Maybe they compared it because 80% of the cars in GT5 are normal cars and 100% of the cars in forza are normal cars. But anyway we should get more vids up soon, neutral and fanboyish.

I only an xbot on monday and Wednesdays and forzabot on the other 3 weekdays I got forza 4 yesterday but its still unopened cus i was to busy, when i get back from work ima load that up.
I saw the forza comparison for the whole series. tbh, forza 2 looks better than 3 by means of the cars itself. Environments in 3 looks better, ofc it would have to.
Im not good at it, but ill see some of the better ones taken by the forza community and probably post that at some point, i have just got back so im going to check it out soon. Yep, do you know what the updates are for, i do think they need more 'unique' cars but any improvements on online play and maybe the ability to customise all the cars? thinking back now, though we could throw turbos on and stuff, the customisation was never that in-depth with GT, not that thats bad, GT probably just doesn't really focus on that. True but not as many unique cars as forza, atm forza has approx 520 cars but they are all pretty much unique, sure GT5 has every skyline under the sun but we need more unique stuff and not stuff nobody is gona drive, nobody cares about the toyota yaris and all its iterations. If you get more cars i wonder if it will be the premium ones, hopefully it will. i know what video you are talking about, i have watched it before, goes to show that F2 wasnt all that bad though i didnt like that game, F3 was the first forza i liked, before that i was GT all the way. F3 cars look better than F2 but in that video F2 looks like very good competition which goes to show that T10 know what they are doing.

I tried to play gt5 again after the update. I ended up quitting for the same reason I quit earlier lmao
The cars are licensed. I don't know what more do you mean by unique. Like the custom decal racers? The Forza decal customization is an aesthetic gimmick. I just prefer GT5 more for a more authentic experience. I downloaded Forza 4 but I haven't tried it out yet. I kind of hate playing on pad as I've only played GT5 on my crappy little DFGT wheel.
Forza liveries is not a gimmick, if it was we would have gotten bored of it after Forza 1, for YOU it may be a gimmick though but that does not make it a gimmick. with unique i mean cars other than variations of car already in the game, like same model but different year for example, one may have leather seats! *Jazz hands* And yeah its totally messed up for us on the wheel issue, we have to either buy total crap with no FFB that looks like a toy for cheap or we have to fork out $300 - $500 for a fanatec wheel so most of us just use pad for now. XBOX does not use HID, thats why logitechs don't work on xbox (M$ at it again) otherwise i would happily buy the DFGT as a decent entry level wheel then get the G25/27 when i can. also if you mean downloaded the full game then watch out, they have the ban-hammer out atm and lots of people are getting banned so im guessing you are using it on an offline console.
