It's not really causing anything, as it's just there and not doing anything. But it would be good if I can uninstall kaspersky 10!

But everytime I try to uninstall it and reboot it windows won't start up and gives me the blue screen of death! So I have to go on safe mode and do a system restore then my windows will load fine. But kaspersky is still there!

I have tried the removal tool for kaspersky but it's the same. Also tried going into control panel - uninstall a program.

    Info:
OS: Windows 7 - Home Premium
    - Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 x86 [Version 11.0.2.556]
    - Downloaded Kaspersky 10 with key gen

Can anyone help me remove it please.

Try using CCleaner to uninstall it. Then use CCleaner to clean up your registry.

    thanks.. but no thanks.
I have lot of stuff to backup then and I can't be bothered to format it. lol

Tried that.. uninstalled asked me to reboot did that, again BSOD.
Did it again, didn't reboot but cleaned up registry. Restart and same again..

Thank anyway, it doesn't matter - I'll just leave it there. Like I said, it's not causing anything.

NDIS.sys (Network Driver Interface Specification) is related to networking but malware/virus can infect or corrupt it.

Update all drivers to LAN/wireless cards or drivers to your router/modem and anything that are related to your network then try to uninstall Kaspersky.

If this doesn't work (no updates available or continues to BSOD) then do the reverse and uninstall everything in regards to your network then remove Kaspersky and reinstall everything you uninstalled which is usually found on your manufacturers CD/DVD or website.

I would do a scan with ESET OnlineScan, Super Antispyware and Malware Antibytes too just to be on the safe side since you mentioned keygen.

For BSOD you can use this by the way - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html so you don't need to camp there and take a photo :p

  8. i second that! update your wlan card/controller! and if all else fails

try Combofix and for safety reasons make sure you download it nowhere else but bleepingcomputer.com, it'll catch stuff most virus/malware scanners cannot. Make you exhausted all other options and have nothing to lose and backed up your stuff before running combo fix and uninstall it after using ;)

^ Everything under Network Adapters; there seems to be a problem with the Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter by the way.

Some of those maybe linked and done via control panel uninstall.
