LOL! After all that time! hahaha. I didn't realise it wasn't doing anything! I thought it was working...

I just did it again using safari as I already have that browser installed:

Why?? uninstall has nothing to do with ram or not?? And I didn't even say my laptop is slow??
How is it messed up though?? I haven't done anything to it.. apart from installing application/software/program? I don't touch/mess the other stuff.

um one indication might be uninstalling kaspersky gives you the mighty BSOD lol...Ram makes it speedier when you actually reinstall everything after you do recovery etc.

I'm assuming you have a Sony Vaio.

Go here - http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/index.aspx - then see if there are any latest drivers for your notebook, if yes download them all.

I think it's more of a hardware or software compatible issue as that virtual thing is a new feature introdued into win7. How old is your notebook? Did it come with win7?

Yep, sony vaio. Not that old... 2 years ago I think. And yeah, came with win7.

    I only downloaded this driver:

Is that part fixed then? I didn't restart..but just checked the device manager to see.

Should I still download all off the drivers?

It's generally always a good idea to keep everything updated.

After the updates try and uninstall that app.

If she hasn't done much recently then I don't think it has anything to do with her drivers and whatnot. I'd go with some kind of malware or something. She did use a key gen for Kaspersky. I don't like to say reformat a lot, as its a lazy and excessive way to fix things, but I think it would be faster in this case. Rather then all this troubleshooting.

Thank you! Finally got rid off it! :D

Haha, but I'm lazy! lol. But I don't mind troubleshooting. As long as the problem is solved then that's all that matters. :)

:p ...but I keep getting a notification at the bottom saying: 1 important message [Find an antivirus program online (important)] lol.
....so do you guys think I should get one or not bother? ...and if so, which one antivirus software is the best and is safe to download..I mean "buy" ?
