On a budget flashy cars. I would go for the M3 on this list. The others are either not as flashy or just not practical enough to own. "When I graduated college I wanted to make a statement to the world. I had a pretty decent job, but school loans stopped me from purchasing my dream car a brand new Mercedes SLK. I was given a gift of $10,000 to purchase a vehicle. I had two options at the time: Use the money for a down payment to purchase a new vehicle or use the money to purchase a used vehicle. I decided to go with option 2. Being a young professional straight out of college I opted for a fancy head turning vehicle. Here are some vehicles today you can purchase for under 20k that will be sure to attract attention. Please keep in mind flashy/head turning vehicles typically come with a pricey insurance rate. If that is a concern run a quote prior to purchasing the vehicle. 94 Acura NSX Entry level supercar. This vehicle was the Nissan GTR of its time. Furoceious throttle in a power packed V-6. Might take some time finding one under 20k, but for the money this vehicle is perhaps the biggest head turner under 20k. 2006 Audi TT Zippy, fresh with a touch of luxury. This vehicle offers a convertible option as well. You can find these for well over 20k now. 2005 BMW M3 You hear many of your peers wanting this vehicle for the longest time. Finally this vehicle is within reach for the masses to own. Classic BMW design with a stylish bulk to it. Comes in a coupe or convertible model. 2007 Cadillac CTS Practical for everyday driving, luxurious, and stylish. This vehicle exemplifies your social status. 2005 Chevrolet Corvette This vehicle holds a very strong presence on the road. This power packed vehicle can outpace most vehicles under 100k. Finding a 05 for under 20k may take a bit of looking, but will be well worth it. 1985 Ferrari Mondial Perhaps one of the cheapest Ferrari’s you can find in the market, but it is a Ferrari nevertheless. This classic looking Ferrari will sure turn a lot of heads. Supply for this vehicle is small, but getting one of these under 20k is definitely attainable. I would try searching in major cities for listings of these (ie: New York City, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco). " http://www.itstheinsurance.com/flashiest-used-cars-under-20k-part-1/
u can actually get an 06 m3 for <20k??? nsx would be the choice... but back home, would be lucky to find any around the 50k mark...
Nsx r rare (at least a non-abuse/mod one)....fucking luv it..... But i would get the M3 and hook it up....But wat about the EVO?? Oh, maybe u hate 4 bangers....
I've been in the market for a E46 M3 (2005-2006) for half a year now. Good luck finding one under 20K. Most of your cars you listed under 20K have a high sticker price in maintenance. They are flashy but definitely not a car that a young professional can afford. Most of these are project cars, especially the Europoean ones.
Unless you're loaded and like to buy old cars, you do not want these. If you're on a budget, you'll want to take into account the repair costs. They will most likely bleed you dry when it breaks down and its your viable form of transportation.
NSX or ferrari would probably be the easiest/cheapest to repair compared to the rest as the motors have less electronics to deal with, but its very very rare to find an unadulterated NSX. Any euro past its manufacturers warranty can become an enormous money pit to repair. Just last year the tranny on my 03 C320 Coupe blew out and it was a 3K fix.
A NSX is expensive as hell to maintain. Believe it or not but most Porsches aren't expensive to maintain at all unless you plan on doing track days with it.
1st: please define the term, Flashiest...Its meaning depends whom you are talking to....ie, average-joe, gear-head? Now, the choice would be alot easier to choose from... Flashiest = big chrome 20in bling bling DUB wheels....Now that's what I call Flashiest..LOL!
make sure you have additional 20k to fix the Ferrari. Good luck haha Those car you mention bmw, Corvette, Ferrari etc. is expensive when it come to fix. And what is the point to spend 20K to buy a 5yr+ car with high mileage and it will have problem in 1-2yrs. Go for a New car if you have 20K but not flashiest car but something like Toyota camry or Honda Accord, or Nissan Altima. Actually if you can spend around 25k you can get the Camaro Or Mini Cooper
Now, you're comparing buying a New vs. Used car issue with a budget of 20K, that's another apple to orange comparison there. For someone is looking at buying a used car on the list, he or she is already taken into account of some of the mentioned issues already...ie. maintenance cost, ownership history, or diy some of the fixes, etc! -woot2 .........LOL @ Carmy :kekekegay: New cars = depreciation or unless money is not a issue at all.
When did he mention that? BTW i drive a camry 2007 V6.. it got 50K mileage and i never got any problem.
