  1. Yes. No contest.

    Better hardware
    Better OS
    Better everything

    But I'm biased.

iPhone is popular.. everyone knows about it and knows nothing about other devices -whistle

the iPhone 4s processor is underclocked to around ~800 MHz.. but since the OS is optimized for it, it performs/runs smoother than most/some Android devices.
the Samsung Galaxy S II Telus (T-Mobile) version has a Qualcomm 1.5GHz, runs slightly slower than Samsung's Exynos 1.2GHz (International, AT&T, Sprint versions)

  5. HEEEELLLL NAAWWWWW

    On both of those points.

Yeah, I want the iphone cause it looks neat and the games... @_@

But I know I can get equivalent or better for cheaper with an Android.
It just sucks cause Fido has some terrible phones. The ones they come out with are older, and they only keep up to date with Iphone. But I can get a really good deal with Fido cause I've been with them for a number of years already.

Yeah, that's very true. One of the other reasons I never opted for an Iphone. But I've noticed so many students at my school have an iphone now. Ridiculous.

People need to stop measuring phones by processing speed and graphical capabilities. Sure more power is nice to have, but I can guarantee you that you can do most of the stuff you do on your dual core phone on a single core. Software is a huge factor in phone quality and people seem to forget that. What rth said is 100% true. Apple only has one device to design iOS for, which means it will run smoothly and effectively because it's tailored to that specific hardware. Android does not have this advantage when you are talking about phones other than the Nexus.

I really want the Galaxy Nexus. That's because it's a Nexus phone, the phone Android was designed for. Rather have a OS designed for the hardware compared to hardware designed for the OS.

^Yup, that's why "Google" w/ the help of a "company" releases a "Nexus" each year. Companies will need to base off the Nexus in terms of spec and configure their phone to run Android OS better/smooth. Like people are saying that Samsung Galaxy S II should/will run smooth on ICS but it's hard to say since Samsung would tweak the software with their own UI and stuff.. so buying a Nexus would be better choice in most cases if you want an OS that is optimized for a specific phone.

instead of arguing what's the best phone..u guys have to understand its more about personal needs and not what reviews says....it depends what the phone is used for and personal preference

Yeah, I plan on terminating early too. Though I'm already on a Royalty plan, so I'm not sure if I could do that again? I'm kind of a noob with this stuff. But I know a friend of mine was able to get an iphone 4 with a good plan and pay like $40 a month. So I'm trying for something similar.

  20. Right, but that wont last for long. Soon enough, software and applications will be written so that it takes advantage of the increased power. Companies are already talking about each phone storing a database that defines the user, etc.

Here's the thing, Android does everything iOS can do. Including Siri. So why would someone pay the same price, for a product that does less?
For the same price you can satisfy your personal needs, and have more. For the same price.
