Fujifilm Finepix s4000 (14mp) http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/s/finepix_s4000/sample_images/ --- has a 30X zoom which is awesome, but I can't carry that around in my pocket. or Samsung st95 (16.1mp) http://www.ephotozine.com/article/samsung-st95-digital-compact-camera-review-16221 ---The quality of the photos provided on that website isn't nice. The one with the field and the building, the building is not clear and when you try to zoom in, it's so blurry. or Sony CyberShot w570 (16.1mp) http://www.digitalreview.ca/content/Sony-DSC-W570-Review.shtml ---looks ok, but it has really poor ratings on reviews.cnet.com http://www.digitalcamerainfo.com/co...-W570-Digital-Camera-Review/Sample-Photos.htm ---the image doesn't look clear. I don't really know which one is the best. I also want to shoot HD videos. My mom wants me to get a dslr camera. I'll post pictures on this thread once I get the camera.
Hmm you're looking in the $100-150 compact range? Spend $30 more and get this http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerSh...=sr_1_3?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1322724514&sr=1-3 Seriously.
or the Sony DSC-WX9 http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Cyber-Sh...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1322724750&sr=1-1
less than $200. cool. ???I was wondering is it the higher the megapixel, the better the picture quality???
fujifilm one has 1/2.3" CCD samsung st95 has 1/2.3″ (Approx. 7.76mm) CCD Image Sensor Type sony cybershot w570 has 1/2.3” Super HAD™ CCD image sensor Not sure what this means. Wait, there are the same...lol
I really like Fujifilm Finepix s4000. I have been looking at the sample videos and photos on youtube. I really like it. But I notice that when you zoom in it makes noises and the auto focus is slow(maybe that's normal). Samsung st95 doesn't make noises when you zoom in...nooooo. lol The Fujifilm Finepix s4000 looks like a dslr camera, but actually it's just a digital camera. You can take a picture of the moon with the 30x zoom, but it's not a great detail.
get the best cannon cam you can afford. And don't expect to much for $200. you'll have to be realistic.
I can't afford those. My grandmother gave me $200 for Christmas. I'm still seeing a problem. For this photo use Fujifilm Finepix s4000, Photos from this website: http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/fujifilm_finepix_s4000_review/sample_images/ ---how come the photo of that house is not clear? ---photos with trees: I see white spots everywhere. Why?
I really like the zoom for Fuji S4000, but the picture quality isn't good. Since they have the same sensor, I prefer higher megapixels. I might think about getting samsung st95 16mp. Still, from the reviews it states: Images lack detail.
if it is something you're into, save up until you can get one that covers all your needs my friend just bought the canon s100 seems pretty decent quality, but thats currently out of your budget
Cool, this one has 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor. I guess I have to get a dslr for the best picture quality.
More reviews for Fujifilm s4000: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/S4000/S4000A.HTM It states that the images are over-sharpen which I agree when I look at these pictures: http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/fujifilm_finepix_s4000_review/sample_images/ But then I found a website that has some really really nice shots. http://www.flickr.com/photos/miguelparadela/sets/72157626047749871/detail/
Yea.. you're really digging the Fuji S4000.. then go with it... -whistle.. Within $200, I would go with Canon 300HS or Sony DSC-WX9
WoW, I like Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-WX9 now. Let me do more research. I'm wondering what is use ISO for. It seems like the higher the ISO, the more fizzy the picture gets. I always set my camera to ISO 80.
