why remove E honda ? he finished 4th and the other 2 (gimps and team dicease, i think they played till the end) if my memory is right, you should remove imket instead, he didnt play for a month and gave easy wins to people toward the end also he didnt reply in this thread, another reason to do so unless he swears he wont do it again here yea rose is now a 1st round pick but i wont pick him if i got the 1st pick ;(
In removal, I meant only the team name. If a manager from last year does not accept an invitation, then the team that he owned will just be a team name and nothing more, all the while taking up a competition spot. Don't get me wrong, I removed those teams because they have not yet expressed an interest in participating this time around. I had sent all managers from last year's competition an invite, but whether they choose to accept that invite is up to them. Essentially, I had to remove the old teams (that have not yet been claimed by their managers) to allow new/interested members to create their own. As for the imket issue, while being active is certainly and strongly recommended, there really is no way to ensure that all participants do so. We would just like to hope each team does its due diligence. This isn't a money league, so there isn't a dire need for strict guidelines and rules. This is just so that we can all have some competitive fun, I think.
Yeah bummer ended last, last year but did get an good comeback tho. so i hope that people will learn not to quit otherwise is not fun at all....
I was interested but want more say in the stats this time around. I didn't like how it was setup. Year after year, w/o any changes, it's mundane and boring. I can get 2 spots.
Is anyone on the waiting list? I have made the decision to opt out if someone else wants to join. I don't think i have time to do this judging by my schedule next month and after that. And im working on sat for the draft.
I would be more than happy to add more cats (and I even tried with 3PT% and Assist/Turnover but to no avail), but only if more than half of the teams wanted to do so. At this point, you are the only one. They've given me no indication so. No one yet. You'll be missed; who's going to draft Jeremy Lin now? :( The draft date next week isn't the draft. It was just a tentative date I had to put down so that Yahoo would let me create the league.
i'm down for more cats if you can explain the pros and cons to it... 3pt% is fine, but ast/to ratio burns bigs too much, and makes elite points way too valuable... if ast/to ratio was on last season, LBJ woulda been like round 4 or 5 at the beginning of the year lolz...

All Im asking is for you to let others be commissioner. Being the title. I'm willing to put out a small mini gift card if you guys are serious about it.
Quite honestly, I don't see how a commissioner change would make things any different, since the only commissioner powers I exercise are to create the league and set up the draft. All other settings are left standard/default and I know better than to meddle. But, if teams are unsatisfied with how I have approached things, then by all means I would welcome a change. I'd like to add though, you kind of can't organize a league without first being the commissioner... On another note, fake draft date pushed back to December 17 while we still figure things out.
