^nah? really depends on who though I guess... If I know what they want, I would get them the thing they want as long as it is reasonable cost. Otherwise, generic item would be food, chocolate, gift card, or plush.
this year i did xmas baking and i canned some jams and bourbon cherries for my close friends. i decided that this year it would be about making stuff. it's a little more personal. i also didn't want to spend so much on presents.
Picture frames are always a good idea. They can also stand as a symbol for cherishing memories in the upcoming year.
thats a nicer way of saying "loooool, didnt get you anything because im too cheap" LOL anyways, you cant go wrong with gift cards, and if you're asian you can give red pocket.
What if that person actually wished for a hug and not any gifts (from you) because hugs cannot be bought with $! You wont jus hug anyone on the streets.. ahaha. Hugs are valuable!
Cause they do those dirty jobs for a living. LOL! But wouldn't u wanna spend that $5 on McDees instead of getting a hug from someone you dont know? LOOL
sheesh, I've been too busy and occupied to have thought about xmas presents =S A card is nice and simple, not those Merry christmas & happy new year one though, put some thoughts and creativity into it =)
The ideas above are good. Baking/Cooking is always nice, can just do simple stuff if you are not too good. Photos are great to share/recall a particular memory/event. Hugs should be given everyday not every year lol. Then you can add chocolate/toys (christmas stuff) or pikachu keyring like rth suggested
