Just read about it, I don't even bother going to papa John, living in NYC, why would you go there... Still, as the Asian population keeps growing and 2nd and 3rd generation kids become more vocal unlike their parents/grandparents, we'll be seeing more of this. Back than, a lot of Asians wouldn't make it an issue.

how ironic i was just called chink while playing left 4 dead by team mates... common stuff on the internet.. i dont even want to get about the racist crap ive experienced in real life. I go through about 5-10 incidents a year and %95 of the time its white people.
I remember ages ago, I watched a documentary on TV and the white people said that Asians are okay because they don't make a fuss about things and keep quiet but if its true about what you said about the 2/3rd gen speaking up for themselves then (racists) will be in for a big surprise.
this is really disturbing, i get worked up everytime i hear stories like these... n not only when its towards asians.....honestly i wouldve said something about it in the employee's face... cuz if this wasnt picked up by the media that cashier wouldve got his laugh n nothing wouldve happened... i get racist comments thrown at me on the street n you know what even at work by PUPILS...e.g once in a while there'll be a "funny" kid who calls me miss noodles.... its incredibly annoying.... u just gotta nip it in the bud or else they'll keep doing it n no way ima take this from pupils.... N yeah ang, i agree most of the times they are caucasians... i feel many of em do it cuz they do not understand how idiotically they are behaving.... they dont get that its insulting.... they just assume that others will consider em as cool or funny... a lot of em dont even realize they are being jackasses... just read the comments on that CNN website n u'll know... Ur not gonna say to a random black person "yo big lips", then why do it to asians... cuz if u do that to a black person you will probably get ur ass kicked but....ASIAN PEOPLE ARE EASY TARGETS... thats gotta change!

There will always be racism in this world, but, Asians do need to stand up for themselves and fight for your rights. IF NOT, you are not only weak in the eyes of those idiots; but you are also doing Asians a great dis-service. To those idiots, one Asian is weak, all Asians are weak.
I remember the last time I stood up for my friend because of a racist remark, I got a busted lip and a butterfly knife held next to my waist. Staying quiet, and ignoring the nasty comment doesn't make you weak, but if you can't take one offensive comment, then you are weak, mentally weak.

Hey I only stop fighting after he took out his knife and threaten to use it on me when i knock him onto the ground. It's not that I didn't want to fight back after that, but I'm not going to fight a losing fight just because my pride is on the line. I admit, I got scared when he took out the knife, but at least I got away without any stab wound on my body.
