While Aaron Kwok (郭富城) professed he take his time with marriage but eventually he will tie the knot, it seems that 44-year-old Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健) may decide to remain an eternal bachelor! In a marketing event for Bobbi Brown cosmetics in Taiwan yesterday, 36-year-old Yoyo Mung (蒙嘉慧) says the pair have a mutual agreement that they will not marry and will not have children together!

For several years, Ekin has battled the marriage problem, that was the rumored instigator in ending his relationship with ex-girlfriend, Gigi Leung (梁咏琪). After Ekin’s good buddies, Jordan Chan (陳小春) and Cherie Ying (應采兒), married this year and seeing more couples get married, Ekin had professed this past year that he was prepared to consider marriage. It seems that Ekin already changed his mind once more, indicating that he will never marry!

Growing up inside a divorced family, Yoyo Mung didn't consider marriage to be the most critical problem in a relationship or life, as there have been a number of other things waiting for you to accomplish. The most important is that the couple is happy within their current relationship!

Dating for six years, Yoyo and Ekin resided together and frequently continued holidays with buddies and family, leading a life-style much married couple despite the absence of a marriage license. Additionally, the couple enjoyed sporting activities together, for example badminton, hiking, and canoeing.

i agree ... marriage license is nothing but a piece of paper. Ceremony and reception are created by businesses much like Valentine's Day to increase their profit margins. When you are happy with someone, why spend the money for those companies when you can spend it on things that both of you enjoy ... like a vacation together.

  3. lol. And I'm sure the concept of marriage is a modern invention of the 20th century.

As long as both of them are willing and happy to be in such an arrangement, then it is fine. Doesn't have to have a paper to prove you love each other and no kids isn't bad either - they can continue to live a carefree life and just enjoy each other.

yoyo just have to keep her fingers crossed and hope that he doesn't change his mind 10 years from now. He better not dump her for a younger chick cause he finally want a family with kids. Good luck yoyo
