Wifi n Yes it works great! I have 2. 1 at my house and the other at my parents. Mine is running off of a N router. And my parents is on a G router and it still buffers fine. I think as long as your internet connection is fast it doesn't matter.
See this post to get an idea. I have no clue what the bit rate is of the TVPad channels since I am still waiting on mine :( Yesterday they were not working, but today some are worknig again.

Anyone having issue with TVpad channels not loading and only getting 2kb transfer rates? The only channels working are in the purple icon. I don't know what that is called.
I think so, you can find the English instructions to buy the TVpad with discount also in the youtube video's (see description) in the first post of this topic. Luckily, the live channels in 百合電視 are still working
Tv pad I ordered my tv pad on Thursday of two weeks ago and received that on the following Monday. I worked perfectly until this weekend when two of the apps (粵海 and HTV) did not stream tvb programs, although a third one, lily tv (百合電視） still works, but not as smooth as before, probably due to overloading. I called tvpad to complain, and was told all apps are on maintenance in order to "provide better service in the future" ( I am quoting what she said in Mandarin). She said everything will become normal and will be better than before in two days...not sure if that is credible. Anyway, I have been impressed by the ustomer service at tvpad...I had some technical issues when setting up and they were patient to help me get tem fixed. Hopefully all three apps tat stream tvb will work smoothly soon.
Same, bought TVPad last week, now TVB doesn't work. Good to know 百合電視 (lily TV) still works. I'd be pisssed if they stopped TVB :(

They ave different providers providing the same programs...I think currently they have TECNICAL problem, ot LEGAL problem...as long as it is technical, they can be fixed...when first received that, it were the other two that worked, while lily tv had some video problem...now it is the other wy around, only Thursday when all three worked perfectly... I called them to advise them that if they want to accommodate more us tomes,they need to have more sources so that when one is down, the others work...also more band width more capacity etc....
According to his facebook account, TVPad is currently down and the support engineers have been notified... Looks like this guy is on top of things, making me feel better about my purchase with him.
