I never said that lol, that's a coincidence. The Cubs had a shit load of curses casted on them. The only curse casted on the Leafs was a bunch of waffles lol.

The one point I wanted to point out is the scapegoat atonement theory of the mob mentality. Fans are quick to pick one individual (regardless of his innocence) and burn him at the stake, which was what happened with Wilson, Burke, Lupul, Kessel and Phaneuf.

People are quick to try and blame one individual regardless of whether they are innocent or not, and it's fucking disgusting.

I revise my statement: There are no worst fanbase. It's human nature and human stupidity that makes a fanbase retarded.

Raffi Torres delivered a dirty and disgusting hit (not in a good way) to Marian Hossa.

Torres clearly left his feet and made shoulder contact with Hossa's head. And to boot, the guy didn't get penalized, but Hawks did? What the hell is with that? Ridiculous.

 

Raffi Torres is a dirty muhfugger. Suspend him from the playoffs.

 

He did this last year too when he was a Canuck, against Seabrook! Didn't get a suspension or fine. Freakin pathetic. He better get suspended for the remainder of playoffs. If he gets only max 3 games or something, that would just be disgusting.

Seems like I'm the only Canucks fan.....what's with all the hate? lol

Quite disappointing watching them lose 3 straight but Quick was quite good despite good performances by Luongo and Schieder. Quick was just better. Brown, Kopitar, Carter and Richards are great players too and their D seems to be able to track down the Canucks with their aggressive checks. Maybe it's a little too late being down 3-1 but after game 4 it seems there's a bit of hope with the help of some lucky bounces. One game at a time.

It's also kinda nice seeing the Sedins like throwing a whack lol

Torres' hit on Hossa was pretty bad lol. Especially since Hossa is pretty much out for quite some time, I think Torres would get at least 8 or 9 games. Shanny and the NHL seems to like to base suspension heavily on the result of the hit and how serious the injury of the incident is rather than the intent. Therefore Weber was just fined lol

It was a damn close game last night. 4 games straight Hawks and Coyotes have met in OT. Intense! I really hope Hawks can pull out another win or 2.

 

The fans and their attitude makes it pretty easy to hate them lol. And just the fact that they're a canadian team, with non-hockey idiots cheering them just just because they're a canadian team lol.

Oh, and the canucks fans act like they're as large a market as an original six team lol. It's only natural for us to hate lol

 

cuz they are inconsistent; as the nucks ad goes "we are all canuck" is NOT true...i don't watch hockey but my version i am all nhl (except the nucks)
winning the top spot was useless as it seems that way then they are down 3-0
they are in 2-peat embarrassments (riot & top team but lost 4-1)

The leafs are the biggest market in the NHL, but you don't see leafs fans go "We are Canada's team". The leafs don't give a shit about the rest of Canada.

Because my point had nothing to do regarding the success/failing of a team. It has to do with people's hatred of someone/some team. It doesn't matter if they're on the golf course or on a boat fishing, you still hate them lol and that's my point.

True, very true. That's because Toronto IS the center of the hockey world (and facts support it. Biggest market, biggest everything). This, of course, does not reflect my bias of the leafs. Compare any other team to Toronto, we have the biggest everything. Except of course, the players. The players are smaller than the midgets Canadiens.

Very true. But I respect the success of the Canucks and Bruins. You seem to miss the point that my hate has nothing to do with the team, it has everything to do with its fans. I guess to extend my hatred of its fans to the team is not correct. But oh well. Again, I respect the success of the Canucks and the Bruins, and I am not afraid to admit that they are 20 times the team that the leafs are, no contest.
