The California Hall of Fame welcomed 13 new members including "Star Wars" creator George Lucas, slain gay rights activist Harvey Milk and feisty football commentator John Madden. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver attended the induction ceremony after a red carpet walk Tuesday night. Among those attending the event were Lucas and Madden, actress Carol Burnett, author Danielle Steel, bodybuilding pioneer Joe Weider and Air Force test pilot Gen. Chuck Yeager. Their profiles will be displayed for the next year at the California Museum in Sacramento, along with memorabilia of their achievements. They include Star Wars droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, legislation by inductee Gov. Hiram Johnson creating suffrage, recall and referendum and Madden's 1977 Super Bowl trophy. Sources: Xinhua
