I watched Inception in IMAX and thought it was a great movie! It was sort of similar to Shutter Island though. But overall the effects of the movie were great and the concept of extracting and inception were very intriguing since I'm sure dreams are something that fascinates many people. Oh and the mystery of the ending added to the movie's overall quality! What did you guys think of the movie? How would you rate it from 1-5? 5 being the best! :teeth_smile:
i didn't enjoy the movie as much as i thought i would.. Picture quality: 5 Plot quality: 5 Overall success: 5 (people talk about this movie for hours after watching it, meaning it's very successful) personal enjoyment (mine): 2 Spoiler i don't know.. don't get me wrong, the movie could not have been better than it is.. excellent plot, and amazing picture, but i was never a fan of open and inconclusive endings. the main debate topic of this movie is trying to figure out if he is still in a dream, or the whole movie is his dream... the non--stopping totem at the end is ambiguous. the totem concept is flawed, as it was developed by Mal.. meh, open, inconclusive and ambiguous endings are not enjoyable to me lol
fail! ending was pretty much needed in a movie like this. But to each his own. Also this> Shutter Island. Yes they have similar lead actors and somewhat tries to fuck with the audience's mind but this is definitely better.
Haven't seen it but heard good reviews from those who have watched it. Definitely, on my list of movie to catch!
