Directed by the always interesting Wilson Yip (Bullets Over Summer and SPL), 2002 is a fun, innovative update to the paranormal genre, packed with glossy visuals, impressive action sequences, and an eye-candy cast. Nicholas Tse plays a special agent from a police force known as 2002. He, however, is not an ordinary police officer and has the ability to see ghosts. In the beginning Tse's partner is Sam Lee, however it is Sam's time to reincarnate and so a new partner must be found. The new partner comes in the form of Stephen Fung, who can also see ghosts. Fung (apart from being afraid of ghosts) thinks it is great being the partner of Nicholas Tse and everything runs smoothly until Fung finds out that in order to continue working for 2002 he must die; the unit only operates in human-ghost partnerships. It turns out however that Fung will not be the one to die and instead Tse is killed by the Water Ghost; a ghost angry at Tse for killing his girlfriend. I watched this a while back now. hahahhas. But today, i re-watched it. Even though I watched it 2nd time - i still dont get the ending. Would anyone kinder explain the ending to me. lol. Sad part was at the end where Nic was holding her hand and then he runs away oh and yeh agree with the post above that part was funny. lmao. The ending was slightly confusing... i mean i thought that if nic shoot fung then fung would die?? .... hmm.. but i liked this movie, good action and wow! nic and stephen played good toegther! they should act more movies together. kekekeke* didnt reliase but how hawt is stephen and nic?! hahahahaha*

been searching for awhile for this movie and finally found it. its a little werid story pretty good overall.
