Re: 2006 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD Its all about mind games in the Lakers and Suns series. Jackson and Kobe planned this all out. They knew that Raja Bell was the Suns best one on one defender and the only player on that team that is capable of slowing Kobe down, so they intentionally provoked him to lose his temper. The Zen master is brilliant and Kobe was being himself. Bell just fell into the trap and now hes suspended for game 6. They definitely can beat the Clippers in the next round because of the Clippers inexperience in the playoffs, but Elton Brand is a beast and Sam Cassell is clutch. I dont see the Lakers getting past the Spurs or the Mavericks depending on who makes it to the Western conference finals. Lakers all the way??? I dont think so. The Pistons and Spurs are too discipline to fall under the mind games. Pistons all the way!!
