Well the league is already into the pre-season and the regular season starts in October. So how about closing the other thread and sticking this one instead So everyone let's talk NHL!
kk enough talking about the leafs i got 2 tickets for the habs vs pens game in jan 19 2008, i just can't wait ooh noes, i'll have to wait another long 4 months :(
Huet wasn't that good last season. Hopefully he'll do better, but not to good (so the leafs can beat him). -tongue2
huet was good in the first half of last season, then after, he was just ok, but we can't forget about his injury that costed the habs a playoff spot, since halak didn't do a good job and yes he will be better this season i think i should have bought some tickets for this season's last game, habs vs leafs, they both are about as good as the other, and im sure we'll see some more very intense games between these 2 teams, cuz of the never-ending rivalry lol
what a weak goal leafs let in to lose the game to the sens :( spezza circled around the whole team and passed it in front?!? hope this is not a indication of whats in stored for the regular season.
Sens are dominating pre-season, Leafs got destroyed by Buffalo... I dunno. I still have really high hopes for the Leafs this season, hopefully at least make it into the Conference Finals. It all depends on how well adjusted Toskala will be. I hope we never play Raycroft again... but Toskala right now is looking a lot like the ghost of Raycroft last season. Another thing... why did we get Clemmonson? Kind of a waste of money if you ask me. This season I predict the top teams will be Detroit and Vancouver in the West, and Penguins/Sens in the East. I'm still cheering for the Leafs more than ever though! I hope they will make my predictions wrong and that they go really far!

That's just 1 less series win than what I'm hoping for But I think you're right. I'm just really excited about Toskala and Blake... but I think if we keep our team low on injuries, we can make it! But right now, Toskala's performance is making me wonder how happy I should be about acquiring him this year. He's lost every single pre-season game and right now, nearing the end of the 3rd in our last pre-season game against Detroit, we're down 0-4. I really don't know, but i can BELEAF!
we played well though...but sens are a better team...i thought we competed hard against the eastern conference champs! Raycroft shouldn't let in those soft goals.. first one shouldn't have gone in.

Toskala should start the next game too! he looked good out there tonight....as long as it's a close game against the sens...thats all i ask for.
