The 39th Best Dresser Awards, organized by Japan Men's Fashion Unity, were presented in Tokyo on Thursday. This year, three winners were named in the entertainment category: actor Ikki Sawamura (43), model and actress Emi Takei (16), and actress and talento Aya Sugimoto (42). In the sports category, J-Leaguer Yuji Nakazawa (32) received the title. Other awards were given to Japan Tourism Agency commissioner Hiroshi Mizohata and Shiseido president Shinzo Maeda. At the same event, the 7th Best Debutante Awards were also presented, which are given to young creators in various fields. The winners were fashion designer Akane Utsunomiya, calligrapher Shizu Usami, architect Yuusuke Karasawa, and jazz vocalist Karen Aoki.
