does anyone know when will america be using 3g technology like video calling? i have a phone that supports this and i feel like its a waste not using this.
it's not available in america yet? :S mayb it's ur phone provider? usually aus is behind in technology.... but we hav 1 phone provider that i know of that has it!
I had a freakin 3G phone from HK 2 yrs ago and thought I'd be able to use it in Canada. No such luck. Some dude said I can still use the 3G phone but I have to disable the 3G function permanently. Of course I wouldn't do that, so I had to get another phone without the 3G on purpose.
Cingular / AT&T already has 3G implemented in the bay area... just need both people to have 3G phones and on the Cingular / AT&T network for it to work. You can buy video conference capable phones from Cingular dealers already... 3G for tmobile won't be for a few more years... they are very slow... they just got their EDGE running not long ago...
wow this is kinda suprising.. i thought america was the 1st in almost everything and nearly always updated with the latest stuff.. well it was here in the UK more than 2 yrs ago..
they really do... now that makes me wanna go check it out. how come i have cingular/at&t and i never got anything in the mail about this...... wouldn't they let their customers know about this???
