lately while just sitting at my desk and working on stuff I'll get this heavy feeling on my shoulders, my head like compression or weight like pushing me down anyone know what that's about? stress? boredom? unhealty diet? ghosts? um yeah . . .
well, if you want both answers, i'll give both answers. physical answer: go see a doctor. spiritual: i think there's such things as spirits, namely demons, who will do that sort of thing. i'm not trying to make it sound casual because it's not a casual matter. i've woken up with a heavy feeling on my chest and being totally immobile (frozen). some scientists have come up with a physical explanation for it but i know that it's spirits at work. but i don't know, up to you to believe which one.
I don't really believe in demons, so I guess your shoulders were just tired. Try to exercise regularly. NOTHING I CAN DO 'CEPT shower MY LOVE ON YOU ^Does that work on alot of girls?

From what I have heard, demons can make your head feel like it's "swelling".. What you're experiencing, that could be due to bad diet though, I think..
i always feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. too much to deal with. but i don't know about ur situation smallrinilady...r u stressed about something? some issues that ur ignoring? when i get really really really stressed, i feel this heavy feeling on my chest. like a feeling of something heavy laying on it.
Probably just stress??? I don't know... I personally never have that feeling so can't really say for sure, but I am quite certain that stress played a part in your feeling of weight and/or unease...
Sounds more like stress to me? Or you're sitting on some heavy magnetic field lines at your workplace?
never had anything like this...ya sure ya not sitting under an ac vent or did someone turn a fan ur way...hahah meh..does it happen alot or wat?
I think your not exercising your muscles regulary. Do you just sit at your desk for long periods without doing some stretching?
yeah you'll feel the stress in ur shoulders if u sit and stretch your hand and do stuff...i would normally sit on the floor and stretch my hands to use the notebook and within an hour or 2 i'll begin to feel the tiredness around the neck and shoulders...just loosen up and do a light exercise like moving ur shoulders in a circular motion i believe it'll help as i do it all the time
i'm thinking it's stress it's been happening quite often in the past few weeks, when i'm at work and well, lately at work, SUDDEN OVERLOAD of work so that might be it just wondering if there were other reasons maybe
yeha....i get that feeling too sometimes......it felt really bad once when i drank alot the night before...and had a bit of a hangover....my shoulders felt so heavy...it was like i had 5 bricks pushing me down...
