I hope this is the right place to post Has anyone read this wildly popular book? I decided to give it a try to see if the hype is really justified. Althought I havent finished the book, I am disappointed already. There are so many things wrong with it. How can Tolle criticize ideolody when by doing that he is bounded in the realm of it. by being detached, he 'steps out of it' to criticize it. Isn't that one of the faults and trick of the ego? to be superior and above the rest? Apparently the Christian church has basically deemed this book EVIL!.....which I guess falls into tolle's argument that the Christian church condemns pluralism and isolate and demonize anything that is against its doctrine. Good call! =P Don't get me wrong, some of this points are quite provoking Any thoughts?
