Wednesday January 24, 2007 Hong Kong A pregnant Kay Tse promotes new album, Fans help protect baby Only recently marrying Louis Cheung on Saturday, Yesterday a five month pregnant Kay went to 2 CD stores to promote her new album. “the First Day”. With a slight baby bump showing, Kay gained the close care of her female assistant and appoximately 20 fans closely following her to her two promotions to support her. It wasn’t suprising that Kay was touched and said with red eyes; “They (the fans) really care for me, they buy me dried fruits to eat to stop my vomiting and I also have mother fans boiling ginger and vinegar, cutting newspaper clippings, writing diary entries and creating a website for me. I am really touched by their actions!” To stop Kay from being overworked, her company has arranged that she will stop working from next month and stay home to get ready for pregnancy. Kay secretly encouraged fans to create volunteer groups and to volunteer at hospitals. Kay responded; “Most of my fans are students, I hope to be able to create some meaningful and beautiful memories with them. To date, there have already been over 3000 fans signing up for this volunteer group. I have also contacted some charity organisations. (Aren’t you agraid of being exposed to germs and bacteria at the hospital?) No, I’m not afraid because I will be careful.” When talking about her newly-wedded lifestyle, kay felt very satisfied and lucky, when for the first time hearing Louis call her “wife”, she had not adapted to this and couldn’t help but smile.
