Aarif Lee (李治廷) was seen outside with his girlfriend yesterday. The 25-year-old Malay-Arab-Chinese star from Leon Lai’s (黎明) Amusic label, said often that he was single. As it turns out Aarif has long been dating his girlfriend for several years, deciding to keep the love life a secret since stepping into the entertainment industry! As a result of winning the Best New Performer Award at the 2010 Hong Kong Film Awards, Aarif Lee began receiving increasingly important roles in films. His latest film project Cold War <寒战> starring with Tony Leung (梁家辉). Additionally, Aarif was often times regarded as being a “quality idol” because of his musical talent, where he produced, composed, and wrote lyrics for his own songs, for example, the recently released album, Our Starting Line <我们的起跑线>. He was highly regarded under Leon Lai’s Amusic label. Presumably, Aarif failed to even tell his management company that he had a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, who worked outside of the entertainment industry. It had been understood that Aarif’s girlfriend consented to keeping their relationship a secret.
