HONG KONG : Hong Kong singer-actor Aaron Kwok recently admitted during a television interview with Taiwan entertainment news anchor Patty Hou that he had wanted to settle down when he was 31, but because of his love for fast cars and the fact that he wanted to pursue his musical career, marriage took a back seat. Making reference to the recent revelation of Andy Lau’s secret marriage, Hou asked if Kwok’s marriage record could be found in casino city Las Vegas, where fellow Heavenly Kings Lau and Leon Lai reportedly got hitched to their partners, Kwok, 43, did not give a direct answer and smiled before replying that besides Las Vegas, “there are many other gambling cities.” Although the media has been asking him for his opinion on the secret marriages of his fellow Heavenly Kings, Kwok refused give his take on the topic. He expressed hope that everyone would not take advantage of the situation to probe into the personal lives of others. Giving his views on love, Kwok said that getting married would mean spending a lot of time with his family. He added that he had many dreams that he would like to accomplish and that he was already “married to his work”. When asked if cars more important than girlfriends, the star laughed and did not respond. The answer to which took precedence was obvious when Hou asked if he would let his girlfriend drive his car, Kwok said, “Cars are my life and I will not let anyone drive them.” Source: CNA Credit: prella @ AF
