Experienced actor Chan Hung Lit (陳鴻烈) was a former Shaw actor. He joined TVB and played in many series like "Blade Heart", "The Dance of Passion" and recently as "Dai Yim Shan" in "Off Pedder". Around 4:30pm on November 24, 2009, Chan complained of a sudden chest pain in TVB's dressing room. Although hospitalized immediately, unfortunately, he was certified dead at 7:11pm the same day after 2 hour of rescue, aged 66 years old. RIP [Mingpao] TVB executive Virginia Lok announced the death of Chan 15 minutes after he was certified. Around 6pm during the rescue, many TVB artistes went to the hospital to visit, including Charmaine Sheh, "Off Pedder" actors Stephen Au and Florence Kwok. [on.cc]

RIP Mr. 陳鴻烈 . What a shame to lose such a great actor. Has had such memorable roles. He's worked in a lot of TVB dramas so for sure everyone there will be mourning over there. I wonder if they'll address that on "OFF PEDDER" or they'll just randomly say he took a trip.....

Wow, so sudden for sure but not a bad way to go, better than being ill and stay in a hospital for years before going....RIP.
