adding ringtones to motorola phones

    i just got a motorola pebl and i want to add songs on to it to used as a ringtone...there is a port on the top of the phone similar to that of the one for the canon digi cams. when i plug the phone in the computer reconizes the phone but i can get into the phone to add the songs.
    i want to know if there is a way where i can add a song from the computer to my phone using a cable

    yes you have to have the motorola phone tool program you can download it off torrentspy.com after you dont u can start using the program for you phone i got the same phone ^_^

    thanks so much....i have a question vietboi...how many ringtones etc did u get on to ur phone....the phone it self only has 5kb's...is there a way where i can cut up songs and make my own ringtones?

    i can put up too 15 ringtones full space

    is there a way to change kbps? the quality of the ringtone isn't that good...
     
  6. you can re-encode the mp3s to about 48kps to make it smaller...

    find programs to make/cut/edit your songs to make them into ring tones. theres always always bluetooth if your pebl supports it.

    what i did is get a program called audacity (just google it) and it allows u to cut songs up any way u like and u can lower the bitrate so that it takes up less memory. i just got a new comp that has bluetooth but before that i just bought a cheap bluetooth adapter off of ebay and would send stuff to my phone that way, hope this helps
