The “SMAP SHOP“, a casual store selling special goods related to SMAP, has opened its doors for a limited term every year since 2005. The theme for 2010’s “SMAP SHOP” is “Are You Smap?“, and fans who are highly anticipating the limited items this year have already circled December 8th on their calendars. Because a numbered ticket is required to enter the store, the atmosphere between fans as they wait in line becomes almost murderous. The fact that these limited items sell out quickly certainly contributes to their anxiety.
