    what is a good, cheap AGP graphics card that will last a while without having to switch to PCI-Express

    the best agp graphics card out there is the geforce 7800GT 128mb edition but i think the radeon x1000 series will do ya

    DO YOU KNOW HOW MYCH THE 7800 GT COSTS??!!!???!!! ITS SO EXPENSIVE!!!!!

    Using ATI Radeon X1300 Pro which I got for $150 on Newegg. You can probably find an equally powerful NVidia card for cheaper though.

    with a $150 budget, go with the 6600GT.

    AGP is pretty much dead, so if you are upgrading now, you best get a moderate level card like 6600 or 6800.

    go for the nVidia 7800GS with 7900GPU. very good agp card, but not the cheapest

    Nvidia 6600 is a good cheapish card

    i only have a 6600... but it does wat's needed (well atleast its an xfx hehe)
    not the best, but im happy with the dual out =)
