Ah Sa says that she likes handsome men; wants to get married after she is 30 Last night, Ah Sa attended the award ceremony for the 5th International Chinese University Students Film Awards. Earlier, Ah Sa, Ah Kiu and their two male ‘juniors’ had shot an advertisement for wedding dresses. Ah Sa’s health has all along been quite poor and she expressed that because the weather was too hot during the filming, she almost suffered a heat stroke. Although she had worn wedding dresses many times before while filming movies, she hoped that she could design her own wedding dress to wear at her own wedding. The organizers of the function had invited Ah Sa, Simon Yam, Stephen Chan, Shawn Yue and 2R to present the awards. Ah Sa revealed that filming for the advertisement was very tough due to the hot sun during the filming, and even her assistant fell sick. She laughed, “It was pretty exhausting filming the advertisement as the wedding dress was very heavy, and I had to wear high heels and walk along the beach. Also I had to be careful not to accidentally expose myself while filming.” Due to the sun, freckles had started to appear on her face and she said that she would need to undergo laser treatment to remove them! Ah Sa laughed and said that she felt as though she was in a real wedding as she had to keep changing dresses and the pace of the filming was very rushed. She hoped that her own wedding would take place over two days as it would be too tiring if the marriage registration and wedding banquet was held on the same day! She said, “The first day we will sleep till 3 pm then go and register our marriage. The next day we will hold the wedding dinner, and wearing both the wedding dress and traditional wedding dress is a must. I must definitely take wedding photos as well because I don’t want to have regrets later like my grandmother.” Although she has worn wedding dresses before while filming movies, she did not feel numb about it, and hoped that she could design her own wedding dress to wear at her own wedding. When asked when she planned to get married, she said straightforwardly that her ideal age to get married was after she was 30. When asked whether she was afraid that her other half would not be want to wait 6-7 years before getting married since she was only 24 now, she said, “Don’t I have to work now?” Marriage is a big responsibility and she said that when she is married, she would not concentrate on her work but would focus on taking care of her children. Also, Ah Sa mentioned that the 2 males which they co-operated with for the advertisement were newcomers from the same company. Ah Sa praised her partner in the advertisement, Hung Cheuk Lap, saying that he was handsome. Reporters joked and said she did not like handsome men as her rumoured boyfriend Ronald Cheng was not handsome. She then said, “It is a bonus to have a handsome boyfriend!” Shawn Yue expressed that he was only interested in being an actor and had not thought about being a director. With regards to the rumours that ATV would be poaching TVB’s employees, Stephen Chan refuted the rumours and said that everyone in ATV was settled in and even if ATV did not poach staff or change, it would still need to hire people. As for whether he met up with ATV’s artistes to try to convince them to stay, he expressed that to date no artiste has taken the initiative to meet him. He was of opinion that the competition was good, as competition would make both sides try harder to do better and outdo one another.
