Wednesday February 07, 2007 Sa smiles though rushing films in HK & Beijing Charlene, Michelle Ye, and Jim Chim were trying out scenes for "King of Plays" (temp translation) in Central the night before. Jim is an acting teacher in the movie with Charlene, a rising star, as his student. The scene they tried out was when they coincidentally met up with Chan Fai Hung, who is a big star in the movie. After a while of trying the scene, at around 11pm, Michelle, who acts as Chan's girlfriend in the movie, shows up, but immediately put on an annoyed face when she saw the reporters. After a little while, a crew politely asked the reporters to leave, when the reporters didn't, the crew once again asked the reporters to leave saying that Miss Ye doesn't like it. The reporters stayed around until 1am, seeing that Michelle was leaving, they asked for an interview, but Michelle ignored them and left. On the other hand, the other actors were very friendly, Charlene left around midnight to rush to the airport for the 3am plane to Beijing to film "King of Fans." This trip will last to the 10th since she will be appearing at the Spring Night Festival show. She said that she's been flying between Beijing and Hong Kong so much lately that she can exchange a few roundtrip Europe tickets with her accumulated mileage, but it's too bad she doesn't have time for a vacation. She said she will have to wait until at least the 21st (lunar Jan 4th) for a day off and laughed that she'll just sleep all day at home.
