Arashi member, Aiba Masaki will be challenging the narration for E-tele’s (NHK Educational TV) upcoming special documentary program “21 nin no Wa~Shinsai no Naka no 6-nensei to Sensei no Kiroku~.” This program will be aired monthly, and the first episode is scheduled to air on June 4th at 3:00 pm. This documentary will be about the 6th grade students at Isobe elementary school in Souma city, Fukushima. This is the area that has affected by the earthquake disaster, and will follow the students until they graduate from the elementary school in next March. NHK has revealed why they appointed Aiba as the narrator stating, “He is very understanding towards children’s feeling, and also is extremely popular with kids. We are sure that everybody will be cheered by the warm message with Aiba’s voice.” This will be the first time for Aiba to challenge a narration role, and he commented, “I hope that I would be able to send out the anxiety in children’s heart as well as the hopes to the future.” Source: Chunichi Sports, Tokyohive
