Alex To's father re-weds 74-year-old Ollie Delfino, Alex To's father, wedded his girlfriend of 20 years, Gina, on Sunday night. To said, "It is indeed rare for elderly of this age to be married. But I'm taking this very positively. He is fulfilling his wish and I'm very happy for him." According to Taiwan reports, To's mother, late veteran singer Zhang Lu, has separated with Delfino for many years. In respect for his late ex-wife who passed away in January this year and also in view of his deteriorating health, Delfino decided to fulfill his wish. The low key wedding ceremony was held on Sunday night. Delfino declined media interviews but tasked his son to address media's questions. To said, "He has discussed the matter with us before deciding on the second marriage. My father's new wife loves him, my brother and I. I call her 'Mum' too." To and his girlfriend, and elder brother were at their father's wedding. Delfino, a renowned drummer, is currently not in excellent health and needs to go through dialysis everyday. When asked if he was worried about his father's health, To said, "I try not to be worried about his health because ultimately life and death is all part of nature. He is very optimistic and a wedding is a joyous occasion. I want to be happy for him." Also a fashion designer, the singer specially designed a navy blue suit for his father and a peach red gown for his stepmother.
